ABOUT EVANGEL MFB

The Evangel Microfinance Bank Limited is to be established as a UNIT micro finance bank within Owerri metropolis. The promoters have identified a gap in meeting the financing needs of churches and their associated value chain which presents a peculiar market. This is with regards to the numerous churches that do not own a micro finance bank. In addition to this there is a fast growing market amongst the Hausa community which the promoters intend to actively and proactively take over. Over 100 churches will be covered in this regard while the Hausa community itself presents a population of over 1000 market participants and about 20 market groups of focus.
